The Dacha', a Russian term for one's second home in the country. The Dacha accommodates up to six guests with three king sized bedrooms, each with private en-suite and TV, an open plan living area, a wood fire place, drying room for your snow gear, Plasma TV and home entertainment system with Ipod docking station, reverse cycle air-conditioning plus individual heating in each bedroom and double covered carport. The Dacha is located just 4.5 km from the beautiful Bright Township and nestled at the foothills of the Victorian Alps, with the convenience of the premier Mount Hotham and Falls Creek Ski Fields only one hours drive away, being the perfect base for snow enthusiasts! And for the cycling devotees, there is a 92 km sealed cycle path almost at your door step leading from Wandiligong through to Wangaratta via Bright or also known as the Rail Trail. Captivating views of Mystic Mountain and a peaceful private setting greets you The large elevated private deck faces Mystic Mountain and the crystal clear water of Morses Creek. The indoor and alfresco living areas will make for an enjoyable and relaxing stay. The Dacha is completely self-contained for your convenience, with European appliances for the cooking enthusiast to enjoy. Or just chill out in the tranquil and private setting of the Wandiligong Valley and eat out at one of the many award winning restaurants in beautiful Bright or the region's finest wineries.

Directions: Coming into Bright from Melbourne on the Great Alpine Road, turn right at the first roundabout into Anderson Street (at Woolworths), proceed up to the next roundabout in the centre of town at the clock tower and turn right. Continue slightly uphill along the main street (Ireland Street) and turn left at the first roundabout into Cobden Street. After 400m at the sign post "Wandiligong 6" turn left into Coronation Avenue which then becomes Morses Creek Road. After approximately 3.5 kms you will pass School Road on your left, and then The Dacha is only 350 m on the right hand side. And you are there!.Enjoy your stay!



Cancellation Policy

Please read the following carefully. Payment of the rental deposit constitutes your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions as a guest of The Dacha. It is your responsibility to read all terms and conditions of the booking and you are responsible for the compliance of any accompanying guests with these Terms & Conditions which are in accordance with the National ‘Holiday Rental Code of Conduct’. It is important for you to have a clear understanding of the basis we provide you with the use of our beautiful property. This is not a residential tenancy agreement under the Residential Tenancy Legislation but a limited permission for you to occupy The Dacha for holiday purposes. Booking Conditions Whilst we understand that accidents can happen we would appreciate you informing Toni and Erwin on 0428 602 302 prior to your departure should there have been any damage/mishap as a result of your stay. At the completion of your stay we will conduct an inspection on the property. • damage other than fair wear and tear to the property furniture and fittings or; • additional cleaning is required including assistance to move furniture or; • there are items missing from The Dacha or; • there are significant breakages; Standard check-in time is after 3.00pm. Other times are subject to availability and arrangements must be confirmed at least 24 hours prior to arrival. Check-out is strictly by 10.00am on day of departure to allow us to prepare for incoming guests. The Dacha has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and is suitable for three couples where a couple is deemed as two (2) guests using one bedroom. The total number of guests should not exceed a maximum of 6. The number of guests must not exceed the number stated on the booking confirmation. It is the responsibility of guests to ensure the property is left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. It is anticipated the house will be clean and tidy in an acceptable state of repair with all dishes washed/dried and put away stove and bench tops clean all rubbish placed in outside garbage bins provided (remember to recycle) Furniture should not be moved as this can cause scratching on floors/decks and damage to the furniture and other house surfaces. The property is situated in a quiet country town and in the interests of our neighbours your booking is accepted on the express condition that you cause no disturbance and you maintain a reasonable noise level between 10:00 pm and 8:00am. Parties and functions are strictly prohibited. We take no responsibility for the theft or loss of guest’s personal property. Please be advised that NO SMOKING is permitted indoors. Should you use the BBQ ensure it is cleaned prior to your departure. BBQ wipes are provided for this purpose Guests are required to ensure the property is secured when leaving ensuring all doors and windows are locked The Dacha has an environmentally sensitive septic system to ensure minimal pollution to the nearby Morses Creek. Please use receptacles provided in the bathrooms and do not flush non organic objects such as feminine hygiene items down the toilets as this will block the septic and impact on your stay. Non Compliance the House Rules is a breach of your Terms and Conditions as a guest of The Dacha. We reserve the right to terminate permission to occupy the Property and evict from the Property any visitors or guests who fail to observe the House Rules or who cause a nuisance Emergency Contact: The Dacha managers Toni and Erwin should be contacted on 0428 602 302 in the case of an emergency relating to the property.
